Dentistry FAQ's

While the services are the same, family dentistry offers general dental services to patients of all ages, including children. So whether you or your child are looking for any general dental services such as dental cleaning, fillings, a root canal or just a check-up, Clemmons Village Smiles is your trusted dental clinic for this.

We have membership plans available to our patients who don’t have traditional dental insurance.

This is designed to provide financial support to our patients who are concerned about receiving dental treatment without insurance.

If you are a new patient and have any questions about our dental membership plans, just get in touch and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Cosmetic Dentistry consists of a range of services that focus on physical appearance and alterations.

Teeth Whitening is a very common procedure that we carry out daily to help remove stains and brighten smiles.

Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are used to correct discoloration, misalignments and chipper teeth.

Clear Aligner Therapy is a popular alternative to braces that we offer for those looking to gradually straighten their teeth more discretely than by using traditional braces.

All-on-4 Dentures provides a permanent and natural fix for patients who have missing teeth and want to feel more confident again.

Whether you’re looking for a complete smile makeover or to fix a small imperfection, our experienced team understands how important these changes are to our patients, so you can trust our team to help you achieve the perfect smile.

General or family dentistry services focus on maintaining good oral health and preventing potential dental issues.

We offer all general dentist services and tailor each service to your needs to ensure optimal oral health.

Regular Check-ups are crucial for identifying potential dental issues and preventing future issues.

Dental Cleaning is extremely important for maintaining good oral health, preventing tooth decay and keeping your gums healthy.

Fillings are required when cavities occur to prevent further decay and to save the tooth. These are common procedures that our team are highly experienced in and are quick and relatively pain-free procedures.

If you have a cracked tooth,  are experiencing sensitivity or have a large silver filling that is breaking down, Crowns and Bridges are available at Clemmons Village Smiles as a permanent solution to fixing these issues.

Dental Implants are often used for those missing teeth or with damaged teeth to help restore confidence and a natural smile.

These are dental services that restore and improve physical function and overall health.

Yes! We have a dedicated team that work with people of all ages. We encourage good dental health from a young age and we have a friendly team who will help your child understand the importance of this and will always use a gentle touch when performing any procedures to make them feel safe and comfortable.

Dental visits are recommended every 6-12 months for standard check-ups and dental cleaning to ensure your teeth are always an optimal health.

Additional visits are sometimes required for those undergoing cosmetic treatment plans that might take more than one session.

If you are experiencing pain or discomfort in your teeth or gums, we advise making an appointment as soon as possible to address the issue and prevent it from worsening rather than waiting for your next scheduled appointment.

If you are experiencing any pain or discomfort, we suggest making an appointment immediately. If you’re experiencing less severe issues like bad breath, sensitivity to hot or cold, bleeding while brushing, we also recommend you make an appointment so we can address the issue as quickly as possible to prevent further damage.

If you’re experiencing a dental emergency such as a broken tooth or sudden sharp pains, get in touch immediately to address and fix the problem as soon as possible.
